Popcorn Remix

A Virtual Fundraising Prototype for the Next Generation

Popcorn Remix is a virtual fundraising platform that enables users to easily organize and execute fundraising events for their teams. In this eight-week solo freelance project, I designed a content strategy to enhance users' experience and support the platform’s overall objectives.

I considered the needs of three user groups: Team Leaders, Team-mates, and supporters. Team Leaders needed robust tools for managing events and tracking progress. Team-mates required easy access to their individual and team performance as well as engagement. Supporters needed a user-friendly interface for purchasing products.

Team Leaders can organize their team’s fundraiser event with an intuitive step-by-step flow. The flow guides Team leaders through scheduling, setting goals, and inviting Team-mates to participate.

Team-mates get their own virtual pop-up store to customize, which links to a team leaderboard. Research indicates that consumers have a strong preference for customization, particularly in digital and social contexts.

Supporters, friends, and family can shop at these virtual pop-up shops to support the team.

A comprehensive dashboard allows users to track orders, view sales analytics and securely manage payout methods.

Popcorn Remix is known for its unique flavors that delight users. My goal, visually, was to capture their bold attitude in a fresh and accessible way.
